Create a graduation photo slideshow to cherish school memories

To tell a story in a "non-traditional" sense, to keep school memories, let us start to create a slideshow with school photos, songs, poems and photos for our graduation and share with friends and families. This guide will show you step by step.

Here's what we'll need:

1. Digital photos about school memories
2. Graduation songs
3. Graduation poems
4. Flash Slideshow Software ( Flash Slideshow Builder )

Below is the step by step instruction:

Step 1: Import photos & add background music.

Drag the photos to the Story Board, double click the image to edit it with the built-in editing tool, which include some basic functions like crop, rotate, filter, etc. Click"Add Music" to add graduation songs for the photo slideshow.

Step 2: Select “Template”.

Step 3: Set “Effect”.

Select "Transition" and "Pan/Zoom" for each image.

Step 4: "Add Blank Image" &“Decorate” with texts.

Click "Add Image" on the "Browse" tab , select "Add Blank Image" to add a blank image, and then click “New Text” on the "Decorate" tab to decorate with the graduation poem.

Step 5: “Publish”.

Modify some “Publish Settings” to make the graduation slideshow more better. Click “Publish Settings”, first change the Slideshow Size as the same as the photos’ size then other settings like play control, preloader, you can just leave them if you don’t need to change. Here I select “Square” preloader in “Preloader” Tab. After done these, click “Create SWF Movie” to publish.

Tips:

1. If the music duration doesn’t match slideshow, you can add or trim the background music to make them fit. Click “Edit Music” on the tool bar above Story Board in “Browse” Tab, or just double click the area underneath Story Board and modify the music.
2. Modify text effect duration to make it best fit. After choose “fade” text effect in “Decorate” Tab, set the text delay as 1 sec to make the text display 1 sec later after image.
3. Set a hyperlink for each image. Double Click the image on the Story Board, then click “hyperlink” tab and input the URL.
4. Choose a gorgeous preloader for your own. Move to “Publish” Tab, click “Publish Settings”, then click “Preloader” tab and check the box “Enable Preloader”. After that, just select your favorite preloader and click “OK” to save the settings.
