Have got so many your Birthday's photos at hand and want to make a Birthday slideshow? We've been dedicating to preserving your photo memories by adding transition effects and DVD menus. It's worthy to make an adorable Birthday slideshow to share now or to show them when they are grown up.

Creating a Birthday photo slideshow with music will captivate your audience more easily. You are recommended to make a Birthday photo slideshow by adding traditional Birthday songs. See below to learn how to add background music. If required, double-click the added music file in the music table to trim it so as to match your slideshow.
By default, once you import photo/video, random transition effects would be applied automatically. However, you can change them as follow:
You can also specify motion effect (also known as Ken-Burns effect) to desired photo. To do so, click the pentagram on photo thumbnail to open the Motion Effect panel and do as the below image illustrated:
Only If you want to burn your Birthday slideshow onto DVD, SVCD, VCD Disc, is it necessary to configure a professional menu. After switching to Menu tab, simply double-click the Birthday DVD menu template on the left hand side to apply it to your Birthday slideshow.
It's time now to burn your Birthday slideshow onto disc or create video in various formats. See the screenshot below:
Note that you need to specify the save path if you select a video format. It will take some time for the program to generate the final Birthday slideshow, which depends on the video length. If you choose to create your Birthday slideshow into video formats, you can then upload it to YouTube and share with others by sending the URL. Prior to that, you may need to sign up in YouTube.

Tips:
1. You can set desired photo thumbnail as the Birthday slideshow thumbnail on DVD menu by right-clicking a photo thumbnail on Storyboard and selecting "Set as Thumbnail" in the resulting right menu. Or the first photo thumbnail would be used.
2. If you choose to output your Birthday slideshow as video formats, the menu would not be generated even through you have applied a menu template. Likewise, you will not preview the menu once you have previously selected a video format in the output format drop-down list.
3. It's available to specify background music to your DVD menu. You can define it just under the work area in Menu tab.
